The Collegiate Purple Star Campus program was established in 2023 by the Florida Legislature in section 1004.071, Florida Statutes, to identify State University System institutions that provide certain benefits to military students, such as: priority course registration, a designated military liaison, dedicated resources for military students and families, student-led transition programs, and professional development and training opportunities.
